Readiness first
This is a preparation record. What the archive holds is the phase before installation: material arriving, the interior opened up, and the space being made ready for a floor.
That phase decides more than it gets credit for. By the time a first plank goes down, most of the outcome has already been fixed by what happened underneath and around it.

The site enters preparation
Site preparation is the part of the job that looks like nothing is happening.
The interior gets opened up first. Walls and ceilings finish their work before a floor goes in, because everything that happens above a finished floor is a risk to it: dust, dropped tools, water from a cut line. Sequencing the trades so the floor arrives late is not a scheduling preference, it is how the floor survives the rest of the build.
The base gets its own review in this window. On a slab that has already carried a floor, preparation means finding the high spots and the hollows and correcting them before anything is laid, since a modular floor transmits whatever it sits on.
Material shows up in this phase too. Packages staged on site are part of the logistics of a job and are photographed as such. What these frames record is arrival and readiness.

The open interior is documented with the floor still in preparation, which is the state the room stays in until the work above it is finished.

The choice on a job like this is when to let the floor in. Bring it forward and it takes damage from the trades still working overhead. Hold it back and the schedule stacks up at the end. This record sits on the holding side of that decision, with the interior open and the surface still waiting.
